- You can purchase up to 10 tickets when using the mobile fare app.
- Youth fares are $1.25 one way. Senior fares are $1.00. The 8-hour light rail pass is $2.50 for youth and $2.00 for seniors.

How does buying fare in the Transit app work?
- Download the Transit app.
- Plan your trip and tap Buy Ticket.
- Select your fare.
- Add to cart and select quantity.
- Enter payment information.
- Activate your pass before boarding.
- Includes unlimited transfers within VTA.
- 1-Day passes valid February 1–10, 2026.
- 3-Day passes valid for 3 days after activation.
